Storm Dog is a climate fiction VR film made when Caro was awarded a Northern Territory Creative in Residency. Set in Darwin 2050, the VR film was accompanied by a social impact campaign encouraging Top End audiences to consider the future impacts of climate change locally.

In the not too distant future Darwin has been evacuated following a series of extreme climate change weather events. A few dedicated northerners remain, using unconventional means to rebuild the north. One night an unsuspecting traveller is lured into their settlement after a mysterious accident, soon discovering it is difficult to leave, and unclear if these northerners are friend or foe.
